Payroll Administrator

 Position:                      Payroll Administrator – large corporate company

Role:                            Temporary – to start as soon as possible

Duration:                     Assignment is on-going

Location:                     Whangarei

Hourly rate:                 Depending on skill level – between $20 - $22 per hour plus 8% holiday pay

Wheel Alignment Technician

 Our client is looking for an experienced Wheel Alignment Technician based in their busy and professional truck dealership based in Whangarei.

The Wheel Alignment Technician will support the technicians to provide a high quality tyre fitment and repair service for customers as and when required performing wheel alignments and adjustments on trucks and other vehicles.

Experience

·         Good level of personal fitness required.

·         An interest in mechanical work and customer service work.

·         Experience working with motor vehicles preferably trucks and good mechanical skills.

·         Interest in practical or manual work with an aptitude for technical specifications.

·         Effective teamwork and cooperation skills, with good communication skills.

    

Accountabilities and responsibilities

Workshop

·         Perform wheel alignments on vehicles utilizing the wheel alignment computer for accurate assessment and adjustment to correct vehicle road handling performance.

·         Check, adjust, balance and align steering and suspension on passenger vehicles for optimum road handling.

·         Advise customers on different types of products and tyres, recommending suitable vehicle tyres and advising on tyre costs and technical aspects of tyre performance.

·         Remove customer passenger vehicle tyres, changing tyres or repairing tyre punctures and tubes using rattle gun and/or die grinder as required.

·         Test-drive customer vehicles to diagnose problems and ensure servicing provided has corrected the problem.

·         Perform any general maintenance of machinery in the workshop such as the calibrating wheel alignment machine and balance machine, and fixing minor faults in balancer or repairing threaded wheel nuts.

Previous experience in selling heavy or medium duty trucks is essential, attention to detail is very important, listening to clients needs and building vehicles to their requirements.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•          Prospects for new customers in a manner prescribed by management.

•          Knows how to properly fill out all paperwork associated with a truck sales transaction.

•          Obtains Sales Manager's approval on all truck deals.

•          Coordinates with the Finance / Insurance Department to assist in obtaining customer financing and insurances.

•          Maintains professional appearance and conduct that favorably represents the company.

Spray Operator

 We are looking for long term temporary staff for weed control spraying in and around the Northland area.

The role is mainly driving a specialised vehicle on the main roads to maintain the control of vegetation. There will be times however, when you will not be using a vehicle.

You will need to be fit and hold a clean Class 2 vehicle license, a forklift license is also desirable.

Spraying experience with a Growsafe certificate will be a definite advantage.

You will need to be responsible and able to think on your feet as you will be in sole charge most of the time.

You must have a good ability to measure and calculate quantities and keep good records as this is a very important part of the job.

This role is Monday to Friday approximately 40 hours per week however weather can effect the hours worked.
