Payroll Officer Well Established Company Temp/ Contract Assignment Immediate Start If you are an experienced Payroll Officer looking for a new challenge, then this role may be the opportunity you have been looking for.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, key responsibilities will include:
- Processing high volume wages and salaries.
- Payroll calculations and deductions.
- Recording of new employee details.
- Interpretation of payroll legislation, taxation, and ACC.
- Management and staff enquiries.
To be successful in this role you will require a minimum of 2 years high volume payroll processing experience, solid knowledge of a large payroll system and an intermediate level of Excel.
You will have a positive and proactive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to work well within a busy team environment.
